Get hooked on omega 3—fin-tastic for your health!
One of my favourite lunches would be either tuna or salmon. If I see the small salmon fillets on special at the supermarket I grab them and put a couple in the freezer. Nobody else in our house really likes salmon so it’s a kind of ‘me’ treat.
I have read so much on the health benefits of Omega 3. Essential for Brain Health. About 60% of the brain is made of fat, and a significant portion of that is omega-3. Heart Health Benefits, Mood and Mental Health the list goes on.
The ratio of Omega-3 the good one and Omega-6 the bad one, matters. Most of our diets often have an imbalance, with too much omega-6 (found in processed foods and vegetable oils) and too little omega-3, which can lead to chronic inflammation.
I marinade a small piece in garlic, ginger, soy and a splash of sesame oil, and pop in air fryer for about -6-8 minutes till golden and just cooked, and one piece will ‘usually’ do 2 lunches. With salad or rice or crusty bread. Anything really.
